Thirsty Thursday - OMG edition

So I'm still craving BBCs. Matt and I have to change that asap, I believe. Think I can get Texas Roadhouse to make one Saturday night??? (Caroline you better be creeping my blog, lover!) Anywho, point being, not having a craving for anything besides a Pink Panther which I can't find the right recipe for online but I think was just tonic, vodka, and grenadine, I randomly started searching. And realized that SOMEONE needs to get this for me. Or yes, I'll get it for myself. And I want to find other shapes too!!!

Ten Good Things Tuesdays 3

This past week has been great, so here's the list:

1. My hubby is with me for a month!!! Yay!!! So glad to have him home :-D

2. I'm almost done with crocheting craploads of things before the craft fair. Only a few more days and then I get to crochet for loved ones and myself again!!! Here's hoping I make lots of money :-p

3. My toes are hot pink. I love pedis ♥

4. My friend's husband is coming home today, and I am SO thrilled for her!!! She's been a MAJOR trooper during the deployment and she deserves this day of happiness!

5. Matt is going to help me make the first couple of care packages to send to himself once we get the address :)

6. My background check is going through! Hopefully I'll be able to start work soon! (but not while Matt has leave. that would suck.)

7. The rain washed away soooo much pollen. I can sort of breathe now :)

8. I made lasagne all by myself and it tastes SOOOO good!

9. I helped Matt make a "happy place" last night. It rocks :)

10. I'm still in love with my keurig ♥

Marine Corps Monday 3

What do I love about the Marine Corps? Well it's hard to say something bad since I just got my hubby back last night!!!! So I think I'll focus on him.

I love that the Marine Corps has given my husband such pride that he'd get his tag info tatted on him. And he was a TROOPER for first time tat on the ribs! And it's also inspired me to get my next tattoo soon, probably right after they leave :)

I did the photo social number opt-out with Paint. And I hate that those lines are straight but the picture is crooked and leads you to think the guy really didn't have any lines at all. Haha but he had the outline he stuck to it to go off of!

Anywho, clearly I love my hubby! Glad he's all mine for a month or so :-D

Fed-Up Friday Number 3!

Hmmm. I really don't have anything I'm super fed up with! Those who know me personally know the awesome breakdown I had this past week. Too many things that, on their own, just sucked a little, but built up over the last week, dear LORD it was too much to handle!

Luckily I have awesome friends that love me though :)

The one thing that I'm always fed up with though? This whole "wives don't have rank" but then wives try and make it so that we do... Guess what, guys, I'm going to hang out with whomever I want to that I get along with! I don't care if you're a PFC's wife or a Colonel's wife! If you're cool, you're good :)

BBC (Banana Bailey Colada) is a wonderful island drink. Equal parts
baileys, rum, coco lopez and fresh bananas. Blender with ice and Top
with fresh nutmeg.

My feet! Which will be pedicured on Friday, aka why there is lack of color :) But it's the first time I've worn these sandals all season!!!

Ten Good Things Tuesdays Take Two

Ahhhhh, I think my first of ten good things is:

1. ALLITERATION! Seriously, how amazing does my blog title seem? And yes, this does make me happy :)

2. I'm down to getting my dressing changed every other day and the wound is looking SO great!

3. Less than a week and my man is hoooooome :-D This is a major major major big thing.

4. I just got my two Christmas Scentsy warmers that I got for like 6 bucks off each in the mail. So I didn't have them last Christmas, but I got them for this year for cheaper :-D

5. I made Matt a hardcover photo book for FREE (either raining hot coupons or the krazy koupon lady on fb). It's with all the pics Heartlove Photography  took for us last November :) It's HORRIBLY corny, saying things like, "We have no choice in the matter... we're perfect together" and "love me some snuggles!" and "can i look into those eyes just a few seconds more?" The last one is the worst, but it's also because of the deployment! I want to gaze into those eyes forever! Ok wait. The worst is actually "Let's go star gazing" I was drinking wine and that seemed to fit the pic, go figure :-p

6. My A/C is on. YESSSSS see ya later, winter!!!!

7. I got to stroke a one year olds hair and she fell asleep today. Gosh, I can't wait til I can do that with my own kids!!

8. Turns out base maintenance has fire ant killer! Haha we went all summer dealing with millions of them and not even knowing! I'm happy that's getting taken care of AND they're going to hydro-seed my lawn!

9. Can I put "awesome friends" in every Tuesday?? It never amazed me the quality of friends that I have made. Haha it also makes me realize more those that definitely choose not to interact with me. But those that do? Oh they're a LOVELY bunch and I love them all SO much!

10. I was able to safely dispose of almost 10 bottles of unused meds (from all the freaking times they changed it on me to help me sleep) at the pharmacy this weekend! I love that they do "drug take-back" days!

Marine Corps Monday 2

What else do I love about the Marine Corps?

Right now, it's the excitement. I'm finally getting my husband back soon from Mohave, and although it's though with him gone, the excitement to get him back, to always have first kisses and hugs and whatnot.... it's just amazing! I always start grinning like crazy when I see him after he's been gone awhile, even when I think I'll keep my cool.

Come oooooonnnn, weekend, let's go!!

Fed-up Friday 2

I'm fed up with how communication SUCKS over long distances. Yes, I know it's the way it will always be. Am I happy that I can't tell if my husband is mad at me or said something endearingly or not? Nope. Not one bit. Sigh, it's days like today where I just freak out and become terrified that for whatever reason, he's going to come back home and not love me. And it's a totally irrational fear. But it's there, it's real, and it's terrifying...

Crap! I'm behind!!!!

So I'm doing Wednesday and Thursday together! Here's my pic from "yesterday" that's actually from today... got my wines of the month in the mail today! Ahhh, another month and then I'll be getting four bottles a month :-D I can't wait!!!

And this is my Thirsty Thursday, dedicated to St Patrick's Day.

Ten Good Things Tuesdays

This is EXACTLY what I need today! My brain keeps doing negative thoughts concerning money and whatnot, so let's see what's been good in my life :)

1. I had an amazing time at the St Pattys Day Festival! Even being DD, it was still a blast, filled with laughs, surprises, and good friends :)

2. I get to do Zumba tonight!!! It's been like two weeks since I last did cardio, basically because of the hole in my arm. But I've got a waterproof bandage of the hole and if I sweat that off, I'll have another one ready :)

3. We're talking t-shirts at the volunteer meeting. I. Heart. Tshirts!!!

4. Should be less than two weeks til my man gets back! Haha who really knows, but it SHOULD be!

5. Speaking of the hole in my arm... it's healing! And YAY I'm finally off those nasty antibiotics! And YAY it wasn't MRSA!

6. The cats are being quiet. I will totally take advantage of this moment ♥

7. I've been staying busy! I think today is my first "down" day, and I still had to get my dressing changed and I have Zumba and the volunteer meeting tonight!

8. I'm really reconnecting with God. I love our nightly chats before I fall asleep, where I know I can laugh, cry, scream, etc. about anything in my life. Always a good friend to talk to!

9. My sister messaged me saying, pending a promotion, she wants to vacation down here in NC in June! I might actually have family visiting me!!! With two adorable nephews in tow, yay!!!

10. It's getting warmer out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (cue happy dance!!)

Marine Corps Monday

It's my first Marine Corps Monday! What's something I love about this life even through all the hard parts?

The friendship and support. In less than a year I've already found some great friends, haha while avoiding the drama seekers, and I love it :) They're the only one who really get all I'm about to go through. And some will be going through it with me!

Fed-Up Friday Number 1!

Right now, I'm fed-up with dramatic people. OK I'm ALWAYS fed-up with dramatic people. It's a pet peeve when you need something wrong with you for life to go on. When you NEED something to complain about, someone to piss off or get pissed at, etc. Chill! There are soooo many important things in life that you're missing by doing this! And great relationships you'l never have, and AMAZING people you'll never meet because you can't not start drama with said people!

Ok and maybe I'll add a glad part to this, I feel too negative :-p

I'm SO glad that I've got an amazing group of ladies in my life who feed off love, not drama :)

New Posting series

And I have no idea how long I'll have it go for. Basically I've been trying to figure out exactly what I wanted to do to keep my blog up and going in between my random bursts of creative writing flow (note: random = seldom. I love to write, but the biofreak in me wins a lot and I don't think everyone wants to see the pictures of the hold in my arm). So here is the list of what I'm going to try and do! And hopefully it'll keep me busy during the upcoming deployment, too!
