Day 7 – Your dream wedding.

Haha, what an appropriate subject on my first wedding anniversary! Seriously, I couldn't have asked for anything better than the small ceremony we had. We had friends there, and it was quick, simple, and of course there was champagne after :) My dream wedding was marrying my dream man. And I got what a dreamt ♥

Day 6 – A photo of an animal you’d love to keep as a pet.

First off: these animals are NOT pets. They have been rescued. Nikki the Macaw had 8 homes in only a few short years, and horrible separation anxiety from it. Although macaws are SUPER loud, they have sooooo much personality, and I'd love to have one! Spencer the capuchin is actually the son of two capuchins rescued from experimentation. I know it's not right to have monkeys as pets, which means I never will, but Spencer is so cute and has a place in my heart!

Day 5 – A photo of yourself two years ago.

So as usual, I can't choose just one. Otherwise I wish I had a picture FROM January 29, 2009! But since I don't know if I do, and in 2009 that I didn't label with photo folders with the FULL date just yet, here is an array from about two years ago, a few a month or so past, a few a little less than two years :)

Day 4 – Your favorite photograph of your best friend.

This is definitely a tough one. I've had many best friends throughout the years! And I don't think I actually have a favorite ONE picture of any. So here is my best friend from college, Beckums, and of course my bestest friend for life, Matty :)

Day 3 – Your idea of the perfect first date.

The best first date is exactly what I got the night I met my husband. Beer, friends, line dancing, kisses on the front porch, and one sexy cowboy :) Seriously, how could I NOT fall in love with that handsome man the first second I laid eyes on him?!?!

With a goofy face. Per usual :)

My day was wonderful! I got to help my friend take two of her three triplets to the docs, since one has a cough. We got coffee beforehand and ordered pizza for lunch. And I LOVE any time I get to hang with those babes. They're kind of the cutest triplets out there, in my opinion. :)

Hanging with friend H is awesome, too, with or without the cuties! We watch movies, tv, talk about past, present, and future, silly and serious, etc.! Glad I met her and have her for a friend and a deployment buddy. I told her I'm going to steal her kids for snuggles when I miss Matt!

No pics with her yet, minus one from the ball. I told her now that I have the new camera, I'm going to be her free photographer! I want to put a sheet out, have them all matching and just shoot shoot shoot! And all you have to do is pretend sneeze and they're laughing like crazy, so I think they'll be great clients. :)

Now it's just hanging out at home, waiting for the hubs to get off of work, and woot, chicken bacon ranch wraps for dinner! (and potentially having an extra three lts and a wife over... this could get interesting...)

You can really see how his kisses make me smile. I love it!

Day 28 - A picture of something you’re afraid of.

Terrified doesn't even begin to describe it. I just hope that I don't have to do through with it and none of the other ladies do either. I'm sorry for those that have, too, my heart breaks every day for a friend that lost her love in September. I don't think anyone should have to see this.

Day 27 - A picture of yourself and a family member.

This is probably my favorite picture of my daddy and me! I'm definitely Daddy's Little Girl, through and through!

Day 26 - A picture of something that means a lot to you.

It's not just the fact that I got my "engagement" ring this weekend for our upcoming one year anniversary. My ring set is the symbol (well, one of the many symbols) of my marriage to the most amazing man out there. I love you, Matty, and always will!

Day 25 - A picture of your day.

Not sure what's on the agenda today. So far eating breakfast and waiting til after lunch for a neighbor to bring her daughter over to order some cookie dough. But since it's MLK day (or as I still like it call it, Civil Rights Day), I thought this picture was appropriate. I'm so glad we have people fighting for their rights, changing what we then believed in. Do I believe everyone is equal now? Far from it. But this step was SO big in getting us that much closer ♥

Day 24 - A picture of something you wish you could change.

Not sure if this makes sense, but I wish I could change my mind. I wish I could change the fact that I started smoking. I'm afraid this addiction will be with me forever now. Day 2, wish me luck...

Oh my gosh, I have to choose ONE? In that case, I'll choose my favorite book from my childhood.

I do play the guitar, but I wish I practiced more to be better at it!

Day 21 - A picture of something you wish you could forget.

Ugh. Just Ugh. Everyone knows this is what I want to forget! It's the only picture I could find, too. The one he freaking emailed me about from some a social site that I had cancelled my account on and the site got this pic still from before and he goes, "I'm sure you and your husband would be as grateful as I would be to have it removed."

Ugh.

In good news, this is the picture from the day after I slapped him. Woot! Which I had gotten more chances of those in, sometimes!
